We have a 2yr female lab - adopted from petfinder. She’s like the energizer rabbit. She could fetch the ball all day. Here’s the scoop: The material is strong, unlike other balls, this has held up for, well so far 2 monthsm - a lot longer than other balls. She loves to chew on it all the time. It really glows bright. We have a launcher not `Chuckit’ brand, but works just as well. So far the `Chuckit’ balls work the best with the launcher, the others we’ve tried don’t stay in the launcher that well. Here’s the only down side…it is really really bouncy. So far those who have a limited space will have to be careful not to loose it. We have approximately 25 yards of fenced in area for her to run. There’s a standard size metal fence at the end, beyond that is a big hill going down, which I end up playing fetch. So it’s not a big down side, it’s just a matter of space and how far and hard you launch the ball.

ONCE YOU HOLD THIS BALL UP TO THE LIGHT IT GLOWS LONG ENOUGH TO WEAR THE DOGS OUT IN THE WINTER EVENINGS WHEN WE CAN’T GET THEM OUT FOR A WALK. BEST TO HAVE THE DOG FETCH IT ONCE BEFORE YOU PLACE IT IN THE CHUCK IT OR IT STICKS AND YOU’LL THROW YOUR ARM OUT!

First of all, the Chuck-it is the best thing to happen to my dog since the pigs ear. I have a high energy greyhound / retriever mix and we play a lot of fetch and the Chuck-its the only thing that’s kept my arm in its socket for the past year. The Glow Ball is the perfect Chuck-it accessory if you need to get some energy out of your dog at night. The ball glows very bright after only a few seconds under a light source and the material is rugged enough to keep the most destructive dog entertained for a good period of time.

I have an 8 month old Australian Cattle dog who loves to fetch and chew. When the ball arrived it looked like it would only last about 5 minutes but I have been more than pleasantly surprised. We have had the ball about 3 weeks and the only wear it is showing are some interior stress marks from getting squished in her mouth when she chews on it. It does get a bit slick with slober after using it for awhile, but it cleans up easy. The rubber is strong but very flexible. I still wouldn’t leave it in her crate when I am away, but for supervised play/chew sessions you cant get much better.
